The Kenetrek Mountain Guide Boot Style # KE-420-G4 is a superbly built mountaineering boot for guides that are extremely tough on their boots or those that routinely travel in brutally rugged terrain. The Kenetrek Mountain Guide has many of the features of our very popular Mountain Extreme boots with the additions of a stiffer midsole combined with the fully crampon compatable Vibram Vertige™ outsole. The Leather uppers are a full 3.2 mm leather protected with a coating of POLYURETHANE in a process similar to the coating sprayed in the bed of a pickup truck. This provides extra durability and moisture protection. The same waterproof and breathable Windtex® membrane and 400 grams of Thinsulate™ Insulation keep you warm and dry no matter what the weather is like.
